Nature is at the core of what we do and who we are. The Walsh family\u2019s vision for a neighborhood backed by nature started decades ago, when they first began planting native Texas trees to grow in a tree farm on the ranch property. Today, that tree farm is home to more than 16,000 trees. Our neighborhood today is full of carefully crafted native vegetation, prairie grasslands are being restored and mature trees relocated from the tree farm planted to line the neighborhood\u2019s streets, parks and front yards. It may seem a small detail, but take a drive through neighborhoods in North Texas and you\u2019ll notice what a difference beginning a new community with full-grown trees can make.<\/p>\n
The community is continuing to extend the miles and miles of hike and bike trails throughout the initial and future neighborhood phases, creating a safe environment where children can venture into the wide-open spaces of our community. And, you may have noticed recently the Greenhouse now located adjacent to the Makerspace in Walsh Village.
